Gapsted Estate Shines with Gold at the 2025 North East Victorian Wine Challenge
Gapsted Estate is celebrating a stellar achievement, with three of our wines awarded Gold Medals at the 2025 North East Victorian Wine Challenge. A testament to our commitment to cool-climate excellence. Congratulations to the entire Gapsted Estate team that make these results possible.
Leading the charge is the Valley Selection 2024 Pinot Blanc, a wine of quiet power and elegance. Crafted from the Acacia Park Vineyard in the King Valley, it delivers aromas of apple, pear purée and honeydew, with a textured palate of ripe pear and loquat. This standout also claimed Gold at the 2025 Australian Alternative Varieties Wine Show, reinforcing its reputation as one of Australia’s finest Pinot Blancs.
Joining the celebration is the High Country 2024 Pinot Gris, a vibrant expression of the Alpine Valleys. Expect layers of quince, apricot blossom and ripe lemon on the nose, unfolding into a plush palate of pear and white nectarine, balanced by lively acidity and a long, graceful finish.
Finally, the High Country 2024 Prosecco, yet to be released! Fresh, zesty and brimming with cool-climate charm. Pop a note in your diary for release day - Thursday, 27 November. With crisp citrus and green apple characters, this sparkling is perfect for festive celebrations.
