Wine Club, Brand and Customer Service Assistant
The Wine Club, Brand and Customer Service Assistant role requires a motivated and enthusiastic person to join our team. Reporting to the Export, Wine Club & Digital Sales Manager, this person will play an integral role in maintaining and growing our Wine Club membership and ensuring our online sales and digital communications are accurate and engaging. The role also supports our Brand Manager requiring familiarity with many aspects of our sales and marketing, including content marketing, digital marketing, social media marketing, design and production. Additionally the role supports our customer service team in sales processing and the sales control for our wholesale customers.
We need a positive person who thrives on detail, and who enjoys going above and beyond to ensure our customers receive top quality service, every time.
Key tasks
- Processing and fulfilling online, phone and in-person orders
- Confidently manage customer enquiries, which may include delivery queries through to questions about our extensive portfolio of wines
- Assist with maintenance of customer database
- Undertake outbound telemarketing to existing customers and Wine Club members
- Provide excellent customer service and collaborate well with management, production and supply chain, cellar door and sales and marketing as needed
- Wholesale sales order processing and documentation support
- Wholesale sales control support
- Other administrative tasks as required
- Attend external trade and consumer show events, as required
- Provide support to our Brand Manager.
- Provide support to our Customer Service team.

Area Sales Manager - North East Victoria
Gapsted Estate is currently seeking our next Area Sales Manager (Regional – North East Victoria). You will be the frontline of the Commercial Sales team and the primary customer service contact. Your primary objective is to drive sales, distribution and realise ambitious growth targets for our amazing products and brands within your area.
Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with the customer base within your area
- Achieving sales and distribution objectives as a result of planning and execution of call cycle objectives
- Providing ongoing superior customer service to your customer base
- Maintaining customer records and reviewing performance at regular intervals
- Preparing business plans and submissions, to secure potential growth opportunities for the business
- Managing all trade promotional and incentive schemes and redemptions in line with any Marketing Programme
About you

Cellar Hands - Vintage Casual Positions
Gapsted Estate are currently seeking Cellar Hands to join our vintage V24 team. The successful applicants will be required to work closely with the Winemaking team to achieve the timely completion of all related tasks within the winery. This vintage Cellar Hand position reports to our Winery Supervisors. You will require to be a team player who can demonstrate the ability to think quick on their feet, show initiative, be reliable and use their time effectively.
Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Assist in the daily winemaking processes of juice and wine production, including daily cellar tidy up.
- Read, understand and follow all Gapsted Estate standard operating procedures.
- Ensure that all work is completed accurately and within allocated times.
- Show a willingness to adopt flexible working hours including normal vintage hours.
- Comply with all facets of our systems and equipment in the winery.
- Pay rate is per the Wine Industry Award.
Skills & Experience
- Forklift License is desired.
- Experience working in a winery environment is desired.
- Fit and energetic, manual handling is involved.

Chef de Partie
Gapsted Estate is seeking a passionate Chef de Partie to join our brilliant team, located in a picturesque location, at a well-established Cellar Door and Restaurant with a menu focused on matching regional produce to our beautifully crafted wines, and is open for lunch service 5 days a week (Thursday through Monday).
Reporting to Head Chef, this permanent part-time position requires a Chef de Partie who is willing to work a minimum 20 hours per week (Saturday to Monday) with more in peak periods, who has a passion for food & wine, an interest in pastry, who works well in a team environment, and has an understanding of how to match food with wine.
Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Ability to cook creatively and consistently
- Help to create a cohesive, efficient and pleasant kitchen environment
- Positive communication skills, energy and attitude
- Must be available to work weekends and Public Holidays
Skills & Experience
- Current Safe Food Handling Certificate
- Hospitality experience is essential
- Pastry skills advantageous
- Applicable trade qualifications and accreditations
- Ability to run service in Chef’s absence as required
- Proficiency in all aspects of food safety, including HACCAP
- Ability to keep calm under pressure, and lead by example
