Our Senior Winemaker Toni Pla Bou says: "Our Valley Selection Pinot Grigio Rosé is a novel twist for a sparkling wine. Seeing that Pinot Grigio is one of the permitted varieties of champagne, we thought we’d show case its potential as a sparkling rosé, given that Pinot Grigio has a natural blush. The wine has a bright effervescence of green strawberries, red delicious apple and cranberry. The palate has a gentle tantalizing bead with zesty red grapefruit and blood orange flavours, with some creamy complexity from secondary fermentation. Our Pinot Grigio Rosé is a great aperitif, but will also pairs well with soft white cheeses, smoked salmon and even delicate fish like Sand Whiting. This wine is a drink now proposition, so enjoy it whilst it’s young!"
