Our range of Valley Selection wines are hand crafted from small parcels of fruit from single vineyards. This range is an exploration of varieties that Gapsted Estate doesn’t grow in the Alpine Valleys or is a special parcel of fruit that has piqued the interest of our winemaking team. Our constant pursuit of wine excellence draws us to the special and varied grape growing regions within Victoria, each offering a unique combination of soils and micro-climate, allowing vines to flourish and produce fruit with balanced varietal expression within a particular vintage. Mature and thoughtful winemaking delivers small-parcel wines with clarity of wine style and purity of fruit while paying respect to sense of place. The heart and soul of this pursuit is reflected in the glass.
The new packaging features the vineyard name and coordinates for the fruit that was used to make each of our small batch wines, while a striking watercolour mountain illustration represents the distinctive valleys and the unique sense of place from which these wines are made.
