Our Valley Selection 2023 Fiano showcases the unique expression of the cool-climate King Valley Vineyard, where the gravel-rich soils create a wine with a remarkable aromatic lift. On the nose, expect enticing notes of starfruit, marzipan, honeycomb, butter, and toast, all derived from the vineyard’s distinctive terroir. The palate is rich and full, with intense fruit, sweet autolytic flavours, and a refined structure. Flavours of honeydew, shelled almonds, and butterscotch provide depth, leading to a long, creamy finish.
Located over 400 meters above sea level, the King Valley Vineyard benefits from natural rainfall, volcanic soils, and protection from the surrounding mountain ranges. This ensures consistent quality and fruit that flourishes even during the hottest months. Since 1977, the Cavedon family has maintained impeccable viticultural practices, ensuring that each vintage continues to impress with its complexity and finesse.
