NEW RELEASE Valley Selection 2024 Pinot Noir

We’re proud to unveil the newest addition to our Valley Selection range, the Valley Selection 2024 Pinot Noir, a wine that captures the soul of the King Valley with rare elegance and depth. Sourced from a single vineyard established in 1977 by the Cavedon family, this Pinot Noir is born from red volcanic soils, nurtured by natural rainfall, and grown on a gently sloping easterly aspect at over 400m elevation.

Vintage 2024 brought its share of challenges, with a cool, wet start limiting yields. But less fruit meant more concentration, and as the season stabilised, the result was a standout vintage for quality. Winemaker Toni Pla Bou guided the fruit through a meticulous small-batch process - a 5-day cold soak, 14-day fermentation, and gentle extraction. The wine then matured for 14 months in French oak where developed its complex personality.

In the glass you'll find aromas of lavender, incense, dark cherry, and sweet oak. The palate is refined with silky tannins, layered red mulberry, liquorice, oak spice, and a lingering touch of bittersweet cocoa. Made to age gracefully for up to 10 years, this is a wine will reward patience.
