"Crushed, pressed, free-run juice to fermentation in old French barriques and one new barrique for subtle new oak characters. Sensitive winemaking here, allowing the expressive grape full rein while enhancing both flavour and texture with just a splash of smooth, gentle, vanillin oak input. Expect melon, stone fruits, pear, citrus and apple aromas. Spice and a light herbal interplay bring an added dimension to the palate, and what texture! Fiano has a big future in the King Valley.
