This wine displays a deep inky red colour. The nose shows juicy blackberry and blackcurrant aromas and flavours, coupled with a fine yet firm tannic grip. The cool climate complexity manifests itself in flavours of marjoram, tarragon and lavender. This wine is weighty and robust.

"No problem ripening durif in the Alpine Valleys in ’21, with this wine weighing in at 15% abv. It sets the scene for a dark and brooding style that also gives life to the grape's beautiful aromatics. Deep red-purple hues. The bouquet brings forth briar, rosemary, earth and blue and black berries. Warm and textural across the tongue with generous tannins keeping everything in line.
