This wine displays a deep red colour. This wine shows aromas of blackcurrant, cassis and hints of liquorice. These aromas lead to a palate that is impressively balanced, with spicy cinnamon, cedary notes and textured grainy tannins and finishes long and smooth.
"A wine in two halves. At first, you explore cool-climate cabernet aromas and flavours via classic black berries, dried herbs, earth and green capsicum. The second half celebrates an elegant style dressed in some pretty firm tannins that tend towards the imposing, finishing dry and astringent." Jeni Port, Halliday Wine Companion
"A heady nose of roses and raspberries beckons you in, this is a red-fruited cabernet, suggesting cooler origins. It's crunchy and juicy, not overly complicated but enjoyable. Varietal tannins tail end the wine." Gabrielle Poy, The Real Review
