Vineyard re-development at Gapsted Estate

If you've been to the winery or driven past in the last week or so, you'll have noticed there is a bit of work going on in the vineyards.

Gapsted Estate is refining what we’ve learned over the last 25 years and investing in the future of our Alpine Valleys home with our continued commitment to wine excellence and emerging varieties.

We’re in the process of long-term vineyard re-development with a thoughtful, considered approach to our soil, altitude and aspect to ensure our estate vineyard is producing the very best fruit moving forwards.

We’re currently removing vines to be able to plant more Tempranillo, Saperavi and Grand Manseng, our icon varieties that thrive in the Alpines Valleys. It’s a long-term investment that we know will pay dividends over the coming decades and beyond, and you, our customers, will reap the rewards of this considered investment in our vineyards and our winemaking.

We look forward to taking you on this journey with us and sharing the resulting wines with you in the years to come.
